I finally have an update on mine! While the entire resto will take me far into Summer, the most needed portion is 99% complete!

I don't think it's necessary to post what a mess my shower had been, so now I am pleased to show what it has finally become!

It's a small room so the pics are in sections.....
I cleaned up all the old shellac & here it is with 2 coats. I'll be adding one more shortly. The tile is finished, I have my old "Standard" ceramic escutcheon, scrubbed up & buffed my shower rod & chrome brackets, picked up a chrome switchplate cover too...
Image

Trim work on the window end of the shower. Walls are prepped & I'll be picking a paint color soon...
Image

I'll likely get a different shower curtain, but this little "Shabby Chic" one I got years ago will work just fine. I do want to mention, even though you can't see it in this pic...the shower rod is finally mounted at the right height! Before...too low & every shower curtain hung on the floor & every liner was long enough to step on inside the shower...
Image

I'm still on a mission for the perfect sink, but I think I've found my tile...
Image

I just keep slowly chipping away at it all. I have a medicine cabinet just like mborman's, but I've just been waiting for a little nicer weather to do the clean up outdoors. Can't wait to find those final things...besides the sink, I want a couple of those nice green glass shelves with the chrome brackets & another towel rod.

We have that exact fixture in our upstairs bathroom! (We did not pay $202 for it. It was already here)

LUCKY YOU!!!! I don't imagine you want to sell it, do ya??

I know....but it doesn't hurt to ask! hehe

Just won this light for my bathroom last night. Another eBay goodie!
Image

My medicine cabinet. I'll be cleaning that up outdoors when the weather gets a little nicer. A friend found me sweet little green glass knobs for the door. I bought 2...one for now & a spare in case something happens...
Image

It's all slowly getting there!

One more "win"....

You have my shower rod Utopia- what did you use to buff yours up with? Mine is hung too low as well. Love what you have done with the bathroom. Great finds on the fixtures!

For now, all I did to the rod was give it a good scrub. I found some extra fine steel wool. I read somewhere that using it will clean it up nice without scratching it. I'll buff it up with that before everything is all done.

Thanks for the kind words. It's been a long project. Started it last August!
