My daughter has long hairs. After her bath, the hairs settles on the shower drain and result in clogging. It is because the hair can build up slowly, sticking to the walls of the drain pipe and catch other debris as it passes by. It takes a lot of time to clean the shower drain once the tub gets clogged. Most of the time I used to clean it with the plunger or a drain snake but always I may not get time to do that. So I need the help of professional plumbers to fix the issue. What are the efficient ways to prevent the clogging? Is there any need to change the shower drain if there is clogging? Please share your thoughts.
