We have just bought a 3000 sq. ft Colonial home in really good condition, and are looking into the possibility of moving the house to the back of the property. (About 800 ft.) We are not having any luck in finding a selection of people who do this. We were hoping that you would be able to help us in how we could find who in the northeast is a Home Mover. We would appreciate any help you could provide.
Thanks, Phoffman

Re: House Mover Needed -- Anyone Know of One?
Alas, the two companies I happen to have in my files that move houses aren't located in the Northeast. But you might try giving either of these firms a call. Perhaps they would know of someone in your area.
Emmert International Clackamas, OR (503) 655-7191
and
Edwards Moving & Rigging Shelbyville, KY (502) 585-5919
Good luck, and let us know how the house-moving goes!
