Re: Spam report thread.
Spam in all languages (English, French, Polish, probably Russian,...) has really been getting out of hand over the past few weeks! Wonder how so many spammers discovered this board at the same time.
Re: Spam report thread.
It may be prudent to make the first postings of new members pending moderation until they prove that they are on topic and NOT spam.
Barring that, what about forbidding new members from inserting links until approved to do so by the moderators?

Re: Spam report thread.
Security on this site is as tight as I can make it using the current version of the Forum Backend software...sorry.
The only thing that I can recommend is that you just ignore any post that looks like spam.
You can, and should however, click on the Report Post button on anything that you think is spam.
That makes my (non paid) job a bit easier.
Since I don't get on the computer on the weekends, spam will only be dealt with during the week.
That's the best that I can do at this point.

Re: Spam report thread.
Don, I appreciate your deleting the spam, but I also need you to deactivate the user account as well.
Are you able to do that process?
I don't remember what admin rights you were set up with, and I don't have the ability to give more admin rights anymore.
Also, the site owners are not communicating with me anymore, so I can't get them to help me out with this.
