Re: Craigslist Finds....
Thanks Mo;
I wish that all of them could find good homes. I am making room in my house for this thing:

I have sold two other big organs to free up the space.
BTW, this is in its old home, a cool (huge) Baltimore rowhouse.

Holy Smokes! Is it in functioning condition, or does it need some TLC?

Re: Craigslist Finds....
It's one of the most outstanding gothic-Eastlake cabinet designs ever.
They guy I'm getting it from is one of the most acquisitive collectors you'll ever meet. Furniture and clocks are his specialty. And pipe organs; He has three, one of which I'm restoring for him.

Re: Craigslist Finds....
Utopia: On the photo showing the organ, there is a table in the foreground with a bronze or spelter statue of a man in a cape/hat. Next to it, under a glass dome is a fine English skeleton clock, likely from the mid 1850's possibly early 1900. It looks to be a single fusee with a passing strike (which means it only tells the time, and it will ring a bell only once every hour, rather than striking the correct number of hours).
If you go to Google Images and type-in "english skeleton clock" you will see plenty of other examples of similar clocks.
