Is this swinging door fixable?!

Hey guys! I need some advice, I have an old swinging door in my kitchen... the type that swings both ways. Somewhere my kids ended up splitting the wood at the top and I am wondering if this is fixable. Maybe wood glue to repair the wood and some sort of re-enforcement plate? I’d hate to have to get rid of the whole door! Please someone, give me some advice!
