Looking for Pexto #5 Mortise Lock

Post by tysarchet »

I have an entry door Pexto 1923 #5 mortise lock that needs repaired. I know that it is missing a few parts, which may be costly to make or search for. I have looked on eBay and a few other vintage hardware sites, but no lock on finding and intact replacement. Does anyone have any ideas or know of a place that might have a replacement in stock?

Hey, I know this is a long shot, but were you able to find replacement parts? I have the same lock and would love to permanently fix the broken springs.

historichouseparts.com? Or call bob 717-336-3471 bobrothhardware.com, he restores locks and may have some parts or a lead.
