Hi,
I have a home that use to be occupied by an older woman who was unable to get up the stairs. Therefore, a perfectly good fiberglass shower was put into the downstairs bedroom. Behind the wall the shower is installed on there is a bathroom.
Ideally, I would flip the shower 180 degrees so it faces into the bathroom. In the second picture (a few different progression pictures mashed together), the shower would be roughly where the white radiator is on the floor. The middle white door is closet, but the depth of it wouldn't really be impacted by flipping the shower around. The idea would be to knock most of that wall out in the bathroom and have the shower facing the toilet.
This would allow me to have another full bath, and then I would ideally just add a closet to the bedroom to make it another full bedroom. How possible is it to turn a shower around? The basement is unfinished and all of the piping for the shower is open and available. Puzzled by this problem - we really want to redo the downstairs bathroom but
