Vermont Natural Coatings Polywhey

Does anyone have any sense how I might remove polywhey? It is a great product but I just don't like the color it produced. I would prefer not to sand. I have a small bucket of Peelaway 6 and thought about trying that. Any ideas? It is the middle of winter and I have a very large area of this to remove so I really don't want to sand!
