I think this is my first post on the forum. I've been lurking for several months - and boy am I glad I signed up for a login before the spam lockout! This is my attempt to put up a picture of the house we closed on today.

We think it was built between 1900 and 1902... but I intend to look deeper into the local records to try and confirm the date.

New here, but snooping around and getting the hang of it. Putting a photo (or more) in a post with Photobucket link worked. In case I need that link for other things, once in there, I copied all my links and pasted them in a NotePad document and saved for easy reference. Saves time from having to go back into Photobucket just to get the link.
For those not wanting to do all that, your "new" or "reply" post has the "Upload Attachment", and a picture can be inserted directly from your computer. After uploading, hit PREVIEW to see it. You can upload more than one photo each time you do this.
If there is a need to resize a photo, your computer has "MS_PAINT" installed. Quite simple and versatile. (Click START, then ALL PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES. There is PAINT.) Put a shortcut on the desktop. I use it more than the fancy programs. Now, to get busy and compose some projects from my old Castle.
