Thanks, there are more houses on High st. The most dangerous encroachment in this neighborhood is the churches. As cars get bigger they need more parking. I think were about to loose a fabulous home on High st. due to this problem. historic homes ar`nt as popular here as I thought they were when we moved.

Hi Raymanretro:

How do you do that? Look at houses upclose from google maps? Am I the only one left on the planet who doesn't know how to do that?

If I've got it right - In Google Maps, type in your address, town and state in the search bar, If there is a street view, a picture of the building should pop up and also above the 'zoom in' button the little man should be colored, you can click on him and drag him around the map

The streets that are available for viewing show up as blue lines. Not too many in my town but I've just checked my Mum's house in England

Enjoy :)

This is very cool, strange seeing other people in the area on the map.

The Smelly house is now on!

Although my neighbor's house is also tagged. Poor souls, I would never wish for them to be smelly. Actually, they already had their share of bad luck...their house burned to the ground, I'm told, 3 years ago. Mr moderator, if you could remove this bad luck charm from their house, I'd appreciate it.

This satellite picture is riduculously new...within the last 6 months. It's shows the wonderful 5th wheel trailer I've been living in since May in my driveway. Hmm, how often is big brother looking in on us?

And, I'd suggest moving this over to the main forum. You'd probably get hundreds of new posts!

Jen
