The really terrible dialup connection I'm using won't let my computer load the map, much less put my Houston house on it.

I don't have cable or satellite TV - it's expensive and I don't watch it much. AT&T has a sweet, affordable broadband deal for most of the city, but they can't be bothered with running fiber optic cables in my neighborhood. So, no broadband for me - yet.

just zoom into your town, or even down to your actual street address, if you so desire. then click on the map and Enter your OldHouseForum Name and a message. Maybe you want to enter your Forum name as the "name" and the message can be your actual first name.... whatever...
I just wanted to bump this thread so that newcomers knew about it. I know we have a bunch of other people who have signed up recently and haven't put a little "dude" on the map!!!

There is our Purple House - although you can see the Airstream that was on the property when we bought her clearer than the house :)

Hiya Kathy!!
Nice to see Texas represented.
I see a few others in your area, but no one else up here behind the Pine Curtain. :(
Odd because there are SO many gorgeous old houses in this area.
Come see us sometime, would love to meet ya.

I was just checking out all you good folks in Texas, and artfox, dear......You may be standing there in Houston with a clean green T-shirt, but isn't it a bit wet there in the reservoir??? (I landed myself in a small lake here in DE when I first put myself on the map. Greg ended up in the Pacific. Welcome to the Wet Ones Club! :)
