Sorry this post is late but I have been busy with the snow. Snow is our winter work, Landscape maint is our income from March to December. I can't give a price for just shoveling because I don't do that. I do plowing and snowblowing, shoveling is done for steps or in front of garage doors. Our minimum is 50.00 a driveway and we start at 2" and that price goes to 6". Anything over 6" is an extra charge per inch. The minimum is the starting point and goes up from there. Before you tell me I'm overpriced we are a legitimate business, pay taxes and insured. Trust me , We work for the money!! I would be very cautious paying by the hour. wow, $50 a time. If I had to pay that it would cost me like a grand a winter to get my driveway shovelled out. Except for this year when it's barely snowed. The going rate in this part of the world seems to $20 - but that's probably because there are more people who are doing it more often.
