O.K. gang, every time I try to post photo's I just get the box with the x, like in the show me your bathroom thread. I use the image button, paste in my url and use the image button again.

WHAT IN THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG? :(

RaeSzafir, right click on the pic you want to post and select "copy image location".
Sometimes the URL isn't the actual location of your pic.
Also, the easiest photo host to use is PhotoBucket.
They give you the location of your pic and the [img] tags so all you have to do is copy and paste it from their site.

i've been around the block a few times, I've been using a modem since 300baud was the fast stuff, ever since GUIs became the thing and pictures started showing up online, I've had pictures posted somewhere. I've been through many a photo hosts, I've even given up on hosts and just bought my own domain name and uploaded via FTP, but I tell you this, for the past two years or so, ALL of my pictures get loaded into PHOTOBUCKET. it is by far my favorite (and I'd venture to say "the best") out there!!!!!

BTW, using FireFox also helps to make it easier to not only post pics, but to surf the web in general. If you don't have it, I highly recommend it.

Don, why did they block Photobucket? It's one of the only ones that don't let people post nudie pics.
Now Flickr.....porn central.
