House Identity Help, and Classic Paint colors/shingle style (1930s)

Hello there! Just looking to see if anyone had some historical context for our 1930s home!

It is from the 1930s in New England, and I THINK it might be an American foursquare? (Let me know if you think otherwise!)

Anywho, we are looking to re-side it and I found some images showing the split/style siding on a closely styled home from the time period:

It looks as though it is two toned, I was wondering what were some of the classic colors used from the 30's on a home like this?
