Bathroom Remodel Insulation - 1920s California Tudor

I am DIY remodeling my 2nd floor bathroom in a 1920s Tudor with stucco exterior and lathe/plaster interior walls. The bathroom shower/tub combo is on an exterior wall. There was no insulation after tearing out the shower walls.

Can I insulation my exterior wall for the bath/shower? Or will a moisture problem arise? I have found mixed answers on the internet. Thanks
