Hi Schag,
OK, I tried to email you using the key at the bottom of your post - and it wanted all sorts of unknown information from me - like Pop Server etc - I don't know that . . .
Anyway - how about this for the first
this is HB's formula for a lime mortar mix for tuck pointing old stone/brick foundations. This has been a hot topic for the past few months - so it is worth IMO to have it handy!

Thanks HB!

Melissa

Done.
Anything else?

BTW, I don't know why you weren't able to email me. It might be something on your end. My email is at Google, so there shouldn't have been a problem.

I have just purchased a new CPU - vista program - and it has some glitches - when I clicked the email icon on your post - I had to go thru a bunch of steps and was asked what my POP server was and STML ?? server was - all things I have no idea - nor do I care to know - I'm a push here dummy type (PhD!) Anyway - short frustration string - executed plan B - go directly to a post. Thanks! I hope others will begin using this to post reference info!

If you just got a new system, the problem is because you haven't designated a default email yet.
There should be a way for you to let your system know that anytime you want to send an email from a webpage to use the type of email you choose.
(Yahoo, gmail, hotmail...ect)
Vista is real new and I don't know a lot about it yet.

Kind of a FAQ resource.

I guess I can get the ball rolling. I can't guarantee a timetable of when it would be fully complete (I'm assuming the person suggesting the topic is the "volunteer" to complete it ;-)).......but how about a resource with links to asbestos (and possibly lead) abatement statutes & regs in each state. I could start with a handful of states and add states as I have time....

Helpful or not?

S, I think that is just what we're looking for.
You could start the topic in a word document and let me know when you're finished.
Then I'll give you access to start the post in the forum.
Just let me know when you're ready to do this.

Chimney Flashing

Post by Jack Willard »

The chimney flashing issue comes up all the time and I have a link to share that tells you everything you ever wanted to know:

http://copper-by-design.com/fs/cf.htm

This guy has a website that honestly goes on forever! I have had him construct a new copper turret cap which is now installed and crowns our Victorian. He will be constructing a new copper chimney for us in August. I can hardly wait to install that on our house!

I cannot say enough about this fellows' craftsmanship! Amazing!

You're welcome! :D
