Hi Danno - Here's the breakdown:
Rust inhibitor - brushed on, Standing seams and welded seams first and then the whole roof, so all seams actually got 2 coats.
Primer - Same as rust inhibitor.
First coat of paint (red in color) brushed the standing seams only, rolled the remainder of the roof with a heavy nap roller on an extension pole. Standing seams got two coats of the first color through this method, once by brush, once by roller.
Final coat of paint (bronze) - rolled the whole thing with a heavy nap roller. I generally rolled the standing seams first and then the flat portions, so again, the standing seams got a little more attention and coverage.
Hope this helps.
