Leaf Miners

Small larvae mine the leaf causing slender, winding, light colored trails. Miner is only a problem if the leaves are to be used for greens. No chemical control is listed.

Cutworms

Cutworms feed on leaves and can be controlled with Diazinon granules or liquid.

Flea Beetle

Flea beetle feeding causes a shotholes in the leaves. These are controlled with sprays of Rotenone(1). Sevin flowable may also be used on Beet(14 for greens, 3 for roots) and Swiss Chard(14).

Aphids

Aphids suck plant juices and are be controlled with sprays of Rotenone(1).
