Kousa dogwood grows 20 feet tall and has ornamental flowers, fall color, and fruiting. The white, pointed bracts are produced a month later than flowering dogwood and are effective for about a month. The red fruits look like a big round raspberry. The fall color is red to maroon.
Two cultivars are listed: chinensis--larger bracts; 'Milky Way'--produces more flowers.
