Many of species eupatorium could be used in gardens but they can become weeds. The species listed is most suitable for garden culture.
Eupatorium coelestinum--Mistflower, Hardy Ageratum Mistflower produces violet blue flowers which look like those of annual ageratum. These can be used as a cut flower and can be dried if cut just before they open. The plant grows in full sun to partial shade and in any well-drained garden soil. These plants start growth late in the spring so mark their growing area. Propagation is by division in spring or fall, or by cuttings taken in spring. Division may be needed to keep the plant under control.
