List of files and visuals associated with this text.

Baby's Breath has little foliage but produces a profusion of small, white, flowers on plants 2 to 3 feet high. The plant needs lots of room and is planted at 4 foot spacings. The plant tolerates poor soil but does better on slightly alkaline garden soil. A sunny location gives best results. The single or double blooms may be dried. Once established the plant does not like to be disturbed.

Desirable varieties are grafted, other methods are cuttings or seed. Cuttings may be taken in mid-summer or fall. The seed germinates in 1 to 2 weeks at 70 to 80 degrees.
