Lingonberry

By The Old House Web
Lingonberries are relatives of cranberries, grown in many Scandinavian countries. Plants are sometimes called cowberries, red whortleberry, foxberry, and northern mountain cranberry. The plant is evergreen and often found on forest floors in higher elevations.

It is next to impossible to grow Lingonberries in Illinois. The temperatures are too hot during the summer and too fluctuating during the winter.
