Aphids suck plant juices and may coat the leaves with a sticky honeydew. Applications of Diazinon dust or sprays of rotenone or Sevin should control aphids.

Four-lined plant bug causes round, sunken spots on the leaves. The spots are often mistaken for a disease. No chemical control is listed.
