Phosphate fertilizers promote root establishment and formation as well as flowering. Phosphate fertilizer types include:

Rock Phosphate: 0-25-0

Super Phosphate: 0-20-0

Triple Super Phosphate: 0-45-0

Diammonium Phosphate: 20-53-0

Sources of organic phosphorus include banana peels, cottonseed meal, dried blood, bone meal and animal manures.
