Dwarf flowering almond grows 3 to 5 feet tall and has white to pale pink double flowers. The flowers are followed by red fruits 1/2 inch in diameter. The plant needs to be pruned severely after flowering.
Cultivars include: 'alba'--white flowers, 'rosea'--pink flowers; 'albiplena'--double white flowers; 'sinensis'-- double pink flowers.
