Syngonium - Arrowhead, Goosefoot

Arrowhead is easy to grow and may be grown in a container of water. The plant tolerates low light but an east window or medium light is ideal. A soil rich in humus and kept moderately moist is suggested. Fertilize regularly with any house plant fertilizer and provide support for this vine-like plant. Ideal temperatures are 62 to 65 degrees at night with day temperatures between 80 and 85 degrees. The plant may need occasional pruning to keep it under control.

Propagation methods are stem cuttings, rhizome division, and seeds. Stem cuttings root in 2 to 3 weeks, leaf bud cuttings in 3 to 4 weeks.
