WEIGELA DISEASES
Bacterial crown gall causes formation of roundish, warty-looking growths on the lower stems. There is no chemical control. Remove and destroy infected plants.
Leaf spots sometimes attack weigela and can be controlled with fungicides containing basic copper sulfate. Rake up and destroy infected leaves.
