Everyone loves the aroma of fresh baked bread, but few have the time to make this treat from scratch. This intelligent appliance can help. With hundreds of pre-programmed barcodes stored in its memory, you need only scan the box of bread mix, add ingredients and Voila! Edible bread. When interfaced with the optional Home Hub Network, this breadmaker can surf the Web and learn new bar codes and recipes. Capacity is 2.5 pounds and it doesn't cost a lot of dough - only $179 (November 2004).
