Ceiling Fans: Fantastic Americana

Fanimation has built its reputation on offering out-of-the-ordinary ceiling fans, and the American Short Version Fan is no exception. The 22" bladed version has turn-of-the-century charm in antique brass or black finish, as well as functionality with three forward and three reverse speeds.

The fan itself is $1,500 to $1,675. Blades and lights are extra. Blades are available in narrow and wide configurations palm leaf, bamboo, wicker, oak, and canvas. Light fitters range in price from $19 for a single bulb to $91 for a four-light Victorian fitter. Shades range from plain glass to mosaic and cost about $90 for a single inverted bowl.
