Ceramic Tile: Building a better stone

Cross-Colors offer the good looks of natural granite and the good behavior of porcelain stone tiles. Manufacturer Crossville says the tiles are 30 percent harder and more durable than natural granite. They suggest using them on floors, walls and countertops in homes and commercial applications.

The tiles come in nine color variations and with a stain or polished finish. Like all ceramic tiles, these are impervious to spills and stains. The tiles come in 6" or 12" squares. With all sides custom-ground precisely square, large-particle tiles can be installed as seamlessly as natural granite.
