For the look, strength and versatility of a concrete surface at a budget price, consider concrete tiles. These pre-cast countertop tiles are 24" wide, 25-1/2" long and 1-1/4" thick, designed to fit most kitchen cabinetry. Available in four stock colors, the tiles can also be ordered in 40 semi-custom colors.

Price is $200 per interior tile (with one finished edge) and $250 for a corner tile (two finished edges). Semi-custom colors cost 25 percent more and require a minimum order of five tiles. November 2004.
