Historically a choice for countertops, wood fell out of favor decades ago, as seemingly more sanitary surfaces were developed. We now know that wooden countertops, when properly cared for, are both long-lasting and sanitary. And wood countertops are becoming popular again in modern kitchens.

These butcher block countertops come in beech, cherry, walnut, oak or maple with a variety of edge profiles. Mineral oil will help finish and preserve the wood.
