Make your green friends envious with this environmentally-friendly, solid acrylic countertop. The sparkling, colorful chips in Avonite's Cozumel come from reclaimed materials that would otherwise have ended up in the landfill. It's one of three patterns offered in the manufacturer's Recycled line. Installed price is $35 to $65 per square foot, depending on design application, edging and other fabrication details (November 2004).
