A solid wood countertop fashioned from old-growth heart pine may be more affordable than you realize. This heart pine countertop can be quartersawn or flatsawn up to 3" thick and 12' long.

This is reclaimed lumber that has been remilled and will have some knots and nail holes. It's also offered in chestnut and oak.
