Remodelers know that doors in old homes often pose vexing problems -- especially if you're trying to squeeze a first floor powder room under the slope of a stairwell. Full height doors just don't fit the angles, and modifying such doors can compromise their structural integrity. Here's one possible solution -- a slant-angle door. Shown here in cedar, this stile and rail solid wood door has two or four full thickness raised panels (depending on width). The angled top rail and panels are cut to your specifications.
