Most dryer motors are designed to push air through vents less than 15 feet long with no more than two 90-degree bends. Long, meandering vent lines reduce drying efficiency and increase energy expense.

This DVK Dryer Booster Kit moves air more efficiently through your dryer vent. The in-line motor has an impeller with backward-curved blades, designed to handle particulate matter (such as lint).

The manufacturer says that the blade design also creates extra power and does so quietly. The motor has thermal overload protection with an automatic reset.

Kit includes motor, mounting bracket and pressure switch. Ductwork must be purchased separately.
