A flimsy metal flapper on your dryer vent is all that separates your living area from the outside air. This Clothes Dryer Vent Seal works like a check valve, allowing air to escape when your dryer is running and then shutting tightly when the dryer cuts off.

In addition to diminishing air infiltration, it also keeps out pests. The plastic unit is paintable and it can be mounted on any type of exterior.
