The Rosalie is a half-mantel reproduced in from a historic design by this family-owned business in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia. Mantels of Yesteryear began life as a restoration business, then inspired by the craftsmanship of the antique mantels, in 1995 the company introduced its solid wood reproduction mantels.
The model shown, part of the Historic Natchez collection, is available finished or unfinished in poplar, quarter-sawn oak, cherry, heart pine or mahogany. Prices range from $3,610 to $4,395, depending on wood. Deduct $300 for an unfinished mantel (February 2005). Overall stock mantel size is 85" wide by 60? tall with an opening size of 54? wide by 42? tall. The company will work with you on custom sizes.
