Furniture: Adirondack scenes

Inspired by the natural beauty of Thirteenth Lake in the Adirondacks, these vibrant panels are hand-painted on canvas. Eight layers of polyurethane give the colors extra richness and depth. The frame on this Arts & Crafts screen is quartersawn white oak and the lower panels have butterfly dovetail inlay. The screen measures 66" wide by 78" tall. Price is $6,200 (October 2004).
