Mainers traditionally used wire and wood hods when digging clams. Instead of bivalves, the Maine Garden Hod holds 15 quarts of vegetables or cut flowers. Or use it to tote your gardening tools. Rinse vegetables in the hod -- water won't hurt the food-grade PVC coated wire body.
