Granite Countertops: Paradiso Bash

Reviewed by:
Rosemary Thornton
This countertop is made with granite quarried in faraway places such as Italy and Brazil. Choose from six edge profiles and 15 colors, with exotic names such as Madura Gold and Paradiso Bash (shown in photo).

Hot pans won't harm the surface but olive oil, ammonia, vinegar and acids could put a hurting on it (and leave a stain). The granite countertop will need resealing every three to five years.

  • Granite countertops sell for $65 to $105 per square foot, depending on options and color (October 2006).
