This reproduction Art Noveau wallpaper is modeled after original Jennie B. Jones designs from 1905-1910. A book of the designs was found recently at a yard sale, and J.R. Burrows reproduces the paper in New England.
Thebes, shown here, is patterned after Napoleonic archaeological drawings of patterns in the ancient Egyptian ruins at Thebes. The wall covering is 27" wide with a self match repeat of 27" (9" high figure). Five-yard-long rolls cover 30 square feet.
This covering is reproduced in its original shades of teal, and priced at $58 per single roll. Custom coloring is available with a 10 roll minimum and $75.00 charge for each strike off. Coordinating friezes in 12" and 18" heights are also available, $24 and $20 per yard. A ceiling paper in a coordinating pattern is also available at $53 per single roll (April 2005).
