Marmoleum from British manufacturer Forbo-Nairn is the real thing: linoleum made from natural raw materials including linseed oil, chalk, wood flour, and pineresin. The resilient floor covering comes in a range of 30 colors in sheet, tile and planks and can be arranged in a variety of patterns and borders.

Linoleum is durable, easy to maintain, and wins environmental points for its use of natural materials, according to the manufacturer. The look of this kitchen floor is created with cool green, pirate gold, apricot and lilac inset tiles on an ivory field.
