Paint: Duration exterior paint offers flexible, peel resistant coating

Sherwin-Williams' new Duration exterior paint goes onwith a thicker, more flexible layer that prevents peeling and blistering, according tocompany literature.

Duration lays down a thicker film -- 70 percent greater than that of conventionalpaints. The goal? One-coat protection on repaints, with no primer needed, even overhard-to-cover colors. New work requires two coats, but the paint eliminates the need forprimer.

Duration is available in flat or satin finish, and comes in a range of exterior colors.It can be used on wood, stucco, masonry, vinyl, and galvanized metal.
