Displaying your child's pictures on the refrigerator takes on a new twist with this futuristic appliance. One of its side-by-side doors contains a 10.4" TFT LCD (thin film transistor, liquid crystal display) television with an internal digital camera, digital album and screen saver. A pop-up keyboard window enables you to surf the web, check email or leave text, voice or video memos and reminders for family members. Or you can use it to watch DVDs or cable TV.

Samsung's Mobile HomePAD enables this digital fridge to interface with a myriad of home electronic devices. This 27-cubic-foot refrigerator sells for about $5,000 (November 2004).
