Fight heat and humidity, and lower your cooling bills, with the PowerCool Plus Roof Mounted ventilator. The powder-coat steel exterior is available in silver, black or brown.

The six blades inside this vent will move 1,170 cubic feet of air per minute. The fan is controlled by a thermostat and humidstat, which turn on the fan motor when heat or humidity levels get too high.

The overized galvanized base makes nailing and flashing simpler, and the manufacturer says the fam can be installed in two hours.

The PowerCool Plus Roof Mounted Ventilator costs about $395 installed (December 2005).
