Shades: Sunglasses for Windows

Do you need sunglasses in your sunroom? Put the shades on the windows, instead. Made with Mylar, these shades can be used on windows and skylights and are offered in 10 room-darkening colors.

The shades can be mounted inside or outside the window frame. Shades are offered with right- or left-handed controls, with beaded nylon chain (standard) or steel chain ($8 more).

Solar Shades come in varying dimensions.

Price for a 24" wide x 36" long shade is $74 (April 2006).
