Sideboards: Communal Dining

Accented with aluminum splines and handles, this contemporary sideboard is handmade at a shop in Brooklyn, New York. Shown here in black walnut and cherry, it features mortise and tenon joints and "sliding dovetails" (for wooden joints that don't meet at a corner).

Hand finished with oil, the sideboard comes in elm, hickory, mahogany, maple, oak, rosewood, wenge and more.
