Siding: New old bricks

Reviewed by:
Rosemary Thornton
This new "17th Century Brick" is made by a centuries-old method. Bricks are molded one by one in wooden boxes which have been lightly coated with sand. The result is a durable, new brick with the minor irregularities in shape and shade that give a historic look.

You can also purchase "17th Century Shapes" -- bricks, made in slightly rounded wooden boxes. These bricks are ideal for spaces needing a curved brick, such as windows, entrances and walls. Bricks are available in a variety of colors and also as pavers (for walkways).
